Multiple DGR OCS Camera Installations at The Mid Island Group

Print Finishing has successfully finished the installation of our camera system on another Heidelberg ST-450.

The Mid Island Group has decided to upgrade their stitcher from the original system that is now obsolete to the DGR OCS high-resolution camera system.

The ST-450 was equipped with a 6-station camera system plus one for the cover feeder.

Accuracy, simplicity and reliability was the target of Mid Island in order to continue delivering the highest standard to their customers. With the DGR OCS system all these goals were matched.

The high-resolution camera system is based on ethernet communication, very user friendly and reliable.

Back in 2012 The Mid Island Group had already invested into the same camera system on their Kolbus Publica Perfect binding line to match their client’s high-quality demands. Over the past years they have realized the reliability (still using all original cameras after 9 years) and decided to continue trusting the system by adding additional cameras, a cover feeder camera and Barcode C128 capabilities.
