Print Finishing Partners, Sarasota, Florida, is proud to announce a new member to its service team.

PFP President Volker Petzold, the exclusive agent in North America for WST GmbH, hires his son, Mike Petzold, as a service engineer.

Mike’s knowledge in the print finishing industry goes back to 1995 when he started an apprenticeship with Kolbus in Germany. He continued to work worldwide as a service technician installing, repairing and training operators on softcover equipment. In 2005, Mike moved to the USA to begin a career with Muller Martini in Chicago, where he continued to work as a service engineer in the softcover field. In the beginning of 2008, Mike received a promotion and became Muller Martini’s Perfect Binder Specialist.

The PFP (www.printfp.com) service team is already handling a large amount of service on used Kolbus machines. Because of the new team member, PFP is now also able to offer service on used Muller Martini softcover machines as well as the increasing demand on Kolbus machines. Together with the well-respected and well-known service engineer Frank Buettner, it will be easier to cover the large territory of North America.

To complete the PFP service team, the ex-Kolbus veteran Steve Golda, an all-around service engineer that most of the Kolbus customers know and respect, is joining the team whenever is needed, as well assisting the German-based service company Print Finishing GmbH, headed up by President Mario Wozniak.

Besides servicing used Kolbus and Muller Martini equipment, PFP is the exclusive distributor for the German-based company WST www.wst-us.com) the world leader in signature recognition systems. WST has given PFP the exclusive rights in North America for distribution and service of the complete program of sensor systems.
